About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Creditors Manager to lead our clients’ creditors team. Our client, a leading logistics company based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs, specialises in providing reliable transportation and distribution services to their clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in their services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the accounts payable process for the Creditors department, including invoice receipt, approval, and payment processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transportation-related expenses into the accounting system.
- Implement and maintain efficient procedures for invoice validation, discrepancy resolution, and payment scheduling.
- Ensure that all processes are followed correctly and that PODs (Proof of Deliveries) are submitted timeously.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in accounts payable management, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with people management and HR process oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary from R 30 000.00 – R 35 000.00 per month.
