About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Creditors Manager to lead our clients’ creditors team. Our client, a leading logistics company based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs, specialises in providing reliable transportation and distribution services to their clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in their services.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the accounts payable process for the Creditors department, including invoice receipt, approval, and payment processing.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transportation-related expenses into the accounting system.
Implement and maintain efficient procedures for invoice validation, discrepancy resolution, and payment scheduling.
Ensure that all processes are followed correctly and that PODs (Proof of Deliveries) are submitted timeously.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in accounts payable management, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal controls.
Demonstrated leadership experience with people management and HR process oversight.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary from R 30 000.00 – R 35 000.00 per month.
