Cape Town: Driver posted by Tower Group

Our client, a leader in the car rental industry is seeking an experienced Driver to join their tam based in Cape Town.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
• 2 years relevant driving experience
• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers license (at least 2 years old) / ( Code C1 License will be advantageous )
• Computer literate (basic level will suffice)
• Must be fully bilingual and able to communicate with customers effectively in English and Afrikaans.
• Reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

• Delivering and Collecting Golf carts with use of trailer from various Golf courses or Private customers
• Delivering and Collecting various Parts with use of bakkie to various Golf courses or Private customers
• Deliveries to various destinations needs to be on time.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route
• Ensure that company vehicle being used are always presentable (Inside and Outside) and fueled up ready to use.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like to buy office stationary, run office errands etc.
• Assist the in-house or field technicians from time to time.
• Drive confidently towing a trailer.
• Communication skills (comfortably conversant in English & Afrikaans, read & write)
• Good interpersonal skills to support excellent face-to-face customer relations.
• Must be able to handle pressure and exhibit good time management skills, demonstrating a sense of urgency and commitment.
