Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring the financial health and success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure the long-term financial stability of the company
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for the company’s operations
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role
• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
