Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Assisting mechanics or technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks
- Cleaning and organizing the workshop area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Preparing tools, equipment, and materials needed for repairs
- Keeping inventory of supplies and ordering replacements when necessary
- Performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
- Providing general support to workshop staff as needed
Candidate
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately
- Problem-solving skills to assist with troubleshooting and finding solutions to issues that arise in the workshop
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work
- Fluent in Afrikaans
