ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, a rapidly expanding leader in outdoor equipment, is seeking a Global Marketing Manager to spearhead the companys global marketing efforts. In this role, you will use market research and analytics to guide strategic planning that drives sales and enhances profitability. You will oversee the development and execution of promotional materials and marketing campaigns across multiple global regions. Additionally, the manager will report directly to senior executives and stakeholders, providing insights into the results of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
DUTIES:
  • Strategic Campaign Development: Analyse existing products and services to identify opportunities for new marketing campaigns that effectively bridge brand messaging with consumer purchasing behavior.
  • Goal Setting: Establish marketing objectives based on historical performance metrics and future market forecasts.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, competitor activities, and other relevant data to formulate robust marketing strategies.
  • Collaborative Planning: Partner with the Global Marketing Manager and the marketing team to create comprehensive marketing plans tailored for various media channels and regional sales teams.
  • Creative Oversight: Approve and supervise the development of promotional materials, digital content, advertising, and all related marketing activities.
  • Vendor Communication: Liaise with media buyers, advertising agencies, and printers to ensure successful completion and implementation of marketing projects.
  • Budget Management: Design cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service while adhering to departmental budgets.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor marketing and sales data, generating detailed reports to present findings to the Global Marketing Manager and Senior Executives.
  • Campaign Adjustments: Adapt marketing strategies and campaigns in response to performance data and feedback.
  • Team Management: Foster efficient communication within the marketing team, ensuring all members meet their performance objectives effectively.
  • Recruitment and Training: Conduct interviews, hire, and train marketing team members as necessary.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and manage a social content calendar, overseeing community management across social platforms.
  • CRM Management: Administer the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, facilitating queries to appropriate departments.
  • Collaborator Relations: Identify, assess, and maintain relationships with potential collaborators.
  • Global Strategy Support: Assist the Global Marketing Manager in developing and executing global marketing strategies.
  • Press Coordination: Oversee the dissemination of press releases and engagement with media.
  • Market Strategy: Analyse market dynamics to create campaigns that align with consumer needs and enhance revenue generation.
  • Media Evaluation: Review various media and social media channels to ensure optimal investment for brand visibility and reach.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and sustain partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Creative Application: Ensure proper application of brand identity and visual guidelines in all marketing and consumer-facing materials.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to respond to market changes and challenges, embracing new technologies to enhance marketing capabilities.
  • Research Proficiency: Conduct regular market research to remain informed about trends and shifts within the industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyse market research, return on investment (ROI), and campaign effectiveness accurately.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor`s degree in Marketing or a related field along with 3-5 years of experience in a marketing environment.
