Hire Resolve`s Client is currently hiring a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their team in the solar energy space. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to design, develop, and implement solar energy systems. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy and contribute to the growth of the company in the Cape Town area.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and engineering of solar energy systems
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments
  • Perform electrical calculations and simulations
  • Assist with the procurement and installation of solar equipment
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of solar energy systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in solar energy

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Graduate or entry-level position, no prior work experience required
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and principles

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our client`s team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. They will also provide technical support to our engineering team and work on various projects related to electrical engineering. The successful candidate will assist in design of commercial, retail, industrial and multi-residential buildings. 

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the functionality and efficiency of electrical systems
  • Support the engineering team in various projects and tasks
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments in electrical engineering
  • Electrical and electronic design of MV/LV installations, generators, UPS, PV, lighting and small power, access control, CCTV and data networks using latest software

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc Eng) or related field
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical design of building structures
  • Revit 3D experience will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
