Job Description
Seeking an Intermediate DevOps Engineer in Cape Town for a Well-Known IT Company!
Requirements:
• National Diploma in Information Technology or Equivalent
• 3+ Years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, etc.) and PostgreSQL
• Experience with the following: PHP, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Apache, Git
Skills and Responsibilities:
• Deployment workflows and tooling to aid developers in development/testing/staging and production deployment strategies.
• Virtualisation and continuous integration tooling on servers to aid in development, testing and staging.
• Collaborate with Developers to bring new features and services into production.
• Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
• Produce high-level design documentation where required.
