Junior Pastry Chef Were searching for a passionate and creative Junior Pastry Chef to join an artisanal bakery team dedicated to crafting exquisite, hand-made pastries and desserts. Our kitchen celebrates quality ingredients, meticulous technique, and the joy of creating beautiful, memorable sweets that bring comfort and delight. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, baking, and decoration of refined pastries, tarts, and baked goods Uphold exceptional standards of consistency, flavour, and presentation Maintain impeccable hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen Support with stock rotation, ordering, and daily mise en place Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure a smooth, inspired workflow Requirements: A strong foundation in pastry and baking, with a keen eye for detail Piping skills essential Passion for artisanal craftsmanship and creative presentation Excellent hygiene and food safety practices Previous experience in a similar role preferred Culinary qualification or relevant certification advantageous Open to South African candidates only If youre inspired by the art of pastry and love creating moments of sweetness through skill and care, wed love to hear from you.
