Job Summary
Client based in Northern Suburbs (Durbanville) is looking to hire a Junior Full Stack Developer.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain features for our web application using Angular, C# and PostgreSQL
- Design and implement RESTful API`s
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
- Participate n code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes
- Collaborate with the team and troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Contribute to the ongoing modernization of our application
- Work with Jira for task management and Bitbucket for version control
Requirements:
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Solid experience with the Angular framework
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with C3 and ASP.NET Core (or similar .Net technologies)
- Experience in designing and using database schemas in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with version control software (Git) and using Bitbucket
- Familiarity with Linux as a development and deployment environment
- Experience configuring web servers such as Nginx (or similar)
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- A passion for building high-quality software
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Experience migrating legacy applications to modern web platforms is a strong advantage
Benefits & Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
- R20 000 – R30 000 per month dependent on experience
