Situated in the heart of the Durbanville Wine Valley you will find a family-owned and operated wine cellar. We are seeking to appoint one full-time chef. The position will be filled based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate, as a Junior Pastry Chef. Flexibility to work on both the hot and cold section is essential, as duties will vary based on operational needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 12 years professional pastry experience (essential)
• Formal pastry training (non-negotiable)
• Strong cake and baking skills
• Professional pastry portfolio (essential)
• Own reliable transport (essential)
• Well-presented and professional
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, overtime, and occasionally private evening functions
