Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join their team. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our company on a variety of legal matters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, contract negotiation, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal issues, including corporate governance, contract negotiation, compliance, and regulatory matters
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company
• Manage and coordinate external legal counsel as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risks
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and meetings with external parties
• Stay informed about industry best practices and legal trends

Requirements:

• LLB degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal department
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract negotiation, and compliance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
