About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team. As a Motor Mechanic at Buhlalu HR Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Performing routine maintenance services and repairs on vehicles
- Overhauling engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems
- Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting on issues found
- Ensuring all repair and maintenance work meets safety and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Communicating clearly with the service advisor/reception team about job progress and required parts
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Qualified Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate
- 5 years of post-qualification experience in a workshop environment
- Valid drivers licence (Code 8 or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time-management skills
Qualifications
