Job Summary

Hire Resolve is currently working with a company based in Cape Town that is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the planning and scheduling of various operations, ensuring efficient processes and timely delivery of products or services.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assist with the development of production or service plans based on demand forecasts and resource availability
  • Ensure that schedules are aligned with capacity and resource availability
  • Monitor and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process optimisation
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of activities
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control, if applicable
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures and adherence to standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any related issues or delays
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on strategies and goals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:

  • A bachelor`s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
