Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a dedicated QA Advisor to join our client`s team in Cape Town. As a leading recruitment agency, we focus on placing quality professionals in reputable organizations, and we pride ourselves on matching the right talent to the right positions. In this role, you will work closely with various teams to ensure processes and products meet quality standards.
The QA Advisor will assist in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures while monitoring compliance with established standards. Your insights and recommendations will aid in process improvements and help deliver exceptional products to clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide support on quality issues to all areas of the business including construction delivery, proposals, procurement, and business services.
- Participate in Supply Chain management processes.
- Preparation and execution of PQPs and PMPs on all Nuclear projects.
- Incorporation of industry standard requirements such as NQA-1 requirements into Lesedis IMS.
- Executing the internal audit program increasing transparency, effectiveness and efficiency of QM audits to create a business impact.
- Ensures professional non-conformance (NC) management and reporting of all business units.
- Drives quality improvement methods and improve process performance management (e.g. 8D, RCA, FMEA).
- Provide continuous management and support to all projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field
- Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or equivalent with professional registration
- Qualified as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001
- Minimum of 7 years in EPC industry as QA Advisor.
- Experience in RCA methodologies will be advantageous.
- Track record of training and implementing company strategies successfully.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance position
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
- Experience in the manufacturing or production environment is an advantage
- Strategic thinking.
- Computer Literate (Word, Excel)
- Computer Systems (IFS, Primavera, MS Projects, Project Management Collaboration Platforms)
- Be able to communicate clearly.
- Be technically competent.
