Job Description

We currently have the above position available at our flexible packaging printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration. The incumbent, reporting to the Mounting Supervisor, will be responsible for the mounting of stereo plates, onto cylinders, for the various printing machines. Key responsibilities: Receive works order & prepare the cylinders, mounting tape, Flexographic plates and cleaner. Clean cylinders for the job with ethyl acetate Load cylinder into the mounting machine and lock. Lay the mounting tape onto the cylinder & remove the waste material. Take Flexographic plates & place onto the mounting tape by using the cameras on the mounting machine & line it up with the microdots to ensure the register is perfect. When plates are mounted, mounter will wrap up the cylinder, place it on a trolley for the printing department Perform safety inspections in and around working area Housekeeping of own working area
