OPERATIONS MANAGER WANTED ✨ Luxury Touring Company | Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is on the hunt for a dynamic and hands-on Operations Manager to join a luxury touring company in Cape Town. Key Responsibilities Operations Management * Oversee the Adventure Store Manager and Assistants to ensure efficient stock management and tour readiness * Keep headquarters guest-ready at all times * Implement and continuously improve operational systems and processes Storeroom & Equipment Management * Ensure touring equipment is in top condition and company-compliant * Maintain storeroom organisation and manage inventory * Prepare three Gourmet Pantries for immediate tour deployment * Handle equipment repairs and sourcing (with senior management approval) * Conduct monthly stock takes and submit timely reports Fleet Management * Monitor servicing, licensing, and maintenance of all company vehicles * Ensure timely bookings and servicing through the Store Manager Guide Management * Oversee guide allocations via the Guide Logistics Coordinator * Support training, development, and well-being of all guides * Manage recruitment, onboarding, and six-month scheduling * Organise quarterly training and regular check-ins * Ensure guides are uniformed and presentable Event Management * Coordinate logistics for Beach Club setups and onsite events * Manage client and internal events, supporting marketing initiatives Meetings & Reporting * Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with the Store Manager * Hold regular check-ins with senior leadership on operational updates ✅ Qualifications & Skills * Strong knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas * Excellent administrative and computer skills * Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities * Dependable, detail-oriented, and adaptable * Effective problem-solving skills under pressure * Strong leadership and communication abilities * Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational systems * Confident decision-maker with a collaborative mindset * Willingness to be involved across all areas of the business as needed Who You Are * Polished, professional, and guest-focused * Thrive in high-pressure environments and enjoy solving challenges * Excellent communicator and relationship builder * Proactive, self-motivated, and open-minded * Passionate about travel, tourism, and creating memorable guest experiences * Flexible with working hours and responsibilities * Fast learner, adaptable, and driven to make a positive impact Package * Salary: R45,000 – R50,000 (DOE) * Work in a luxury, collaborative environment * Opportunity to shape operations and contribute across all areas of a premium touring company Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV today!
