Job Description

Job Title: Packer Location: Epping Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer/ General Assistant. The primary responsibility of the Packer/ General Assistant is to ensure that all products are properly sorted, stacked, packed and prepared according to company guidelines and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: – Pack according to specifications – Ensure that all products are properly labeled and coded for accurate tracking – Assist the operator with – Maintain a clean and organized work area – Perform basic troubleshooting and safely clear jams to ensure optimal performance – Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging – Assist with inventory management and stock control – Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries – Meet productivity goals and deadlines set by the supervisor – Communicate effectively with team members, operator and supervisor Qualifications: – Minimum grade 10 certificate, but a Grade 12 will be an advantage – Previous experience in a production environment preferred – Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as pallet jacks – Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills – Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines – Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory – Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures – Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team – Must be able to work shifts and overtime To apply, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience related to the position of Packer.
