The hotel combines luxury, discretion, and South African warmth , ensuring every guest enjoys a personalized and memorable stay. Position Overview We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a welcoming attitude, and a natural ability to sell additional guest services such as transfers, excursions, local experiences, and safaris. Basic knowledge of Arabic is an advantage, while English fluency is essential . Key Responsibilities Welcome and check in/out guests efficiently and professionally. Manage reservations, guest communications, and payments. Promote and sell extra services (airport transfers, tours, experiences, and restaurant bookings). Provide concierge-style assistance and information about Cape Town and surrounding attractions. Coordinate guest requests with housekeeping, kitchen, and management. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk. Maintain accurate guest records, invoicing, and reporting. Uphold the highest standards of guest service, confidentiality, and cultural respect. Requirements Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in reception or guest relations, ideally in a hotel or boutique property . Fluent in English (spoken and written); basic Arabic is an advantage. Strong computer and reservation system skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Sales-driven mindset with the ability to upsell services confidently.
