About the Role

Service Solutions Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our team in Cape Town. As a seasoned credit controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients’ accounts are accurately managed and up-to-date. With a strong background in FMCG, you will work closely with Spar, Shoprite, Pick n Pay, and independent customers to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain debtor’s book to ensure accuracy and latest status
Ensure accurate updates on all accounts are provided to the Manager once a week, or as required
Monitor slow-moving accounts and escalate to management for action
Follow up on outstanding debtors according to agreed credit terms
Process claims timeously and accurately, ensuring backlog does not exceed 2 weeks
Liaise with Credit controllers on Invalid claims for paybacks to be driven with customers

Requirements

At least 5 years’ FMCG experience in Credit Control
SAP experience is advantageous
Analytical and numerical skills
Excellent communication and people skills (written and spoken)
Experience working with targets and tight deadline-driven environment
Self-motivated and output-driven
Ability to cope under pressure

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ FMCG experience in Credit Control is advantageous.
