About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Reservationist to manage reservations for our exclusive 10-room boutique accommodation portfolio in Cape Town. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing multiple properties. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all individual (FIT) reservations from enquiry to confirmation
- Handle bookings via email, phone, OTAs, and direct channels
- Accurately capture, amend, and cancel reservations on the PMS
- Maintain rate integrity, availability, and room allocations across platforms
- Communicate professionally with guests, travel agents, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate special requests and guest preferences
- Assist with occupancy tracking and basic reporting
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Reservationist within a luxury or boutique hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems and channel managers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a small portfolio efficiently
- Own vehicle and valid drivers licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel to the Durbanville area as operationally required
