RESERVATIONS MANAGER – CAPE TOWN AIRPORT HOTEL Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to lead our reservations team and optimize booking operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail oriented professional with a strong understanding of hotel reservation systems, revenue management; and guest relations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring high levels of e:iciency and accuracy. Manage reservations staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Monitor room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize revenue. Implement strategies to increase bookings across all channels (direct, OTA; corporate; and group bookings). Maintain excellent relationships with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Generate regular reports on reservations, occupancy, and revenue metrics. Collaborate with front office, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Requirements: Minimum of 35 years experience in hotel reservations management or similar role. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and revenue optimization experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays as needed.
