An opportunity for an experienced SHREDDER OPERATOR is required for permanent employment based in Cape Town.We are searching for a Skilled Shredder Operator with proven experience in large-scale scrap processing environments ideally from ArcelorMittal, Scaw Metals, SA Steel Mills, Columbus Stainless, or similar high-load steel production facilities.This role is integral to maintaining continuous material flow into the steelmaking process. The Shredder Operator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and technically proficient operation of the shredder, contributing directly to plant productivity and minimal downtime.Interested applications are requested to submit their updated CVs (in Word.doc format) via email using Ref # 2408 Min 5 years exp in the steel manufacturing, scrap processing, or ferrous metals environment.Prior experience operating heavy shredding machinery in a high-volume steelworks or scrapyard environment is essential.Grade 12 / Matric (compulsory).Mechanical or technical certifications will be advantageous (but not required).Willingness and readiness to relocate to Cape Town (client offers full relocation assistance and accommodation support).
