Hire Resolves client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations
Manage and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
Negotiate contracts with international carriers and logistics service providers
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics
Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations
Manage and develop relationships with key international suppliers and customers
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
Proven experience as an International Logistics Supply Chain Manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of international logistics and supply chain management
Experience in customs regulations and international trade compliance
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Bachelor`s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Proficiency in relevant software and systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong leadership and team management skills
