Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certificate : Section 13)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Electrician
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Must be prepared to work shifts, overtime, and standby as required
• Medically fit to work on a mine and able to pass an Occupational Medical
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, tools, and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and electrical schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on mining-related equipment and infrastructure.
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Carry out inspections, testing, and servicing as per operational and safety standards.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with statutory requirements and site-specific procedures.
• Complete job cards, maintenance logs, and reporting documentation accurately.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to plan tasks and uphold continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and strictly follow safety protocols.
