About the Role
The Carnarvon: People and Culture Business Partner will be responsible for implementing the BU strategy aligned with the People and Culture strategy to meet the needs of the business unit, driving the business units components of the overall companys HR KPIs, and contributing meaningfully to drive the people agenda for the overall business success. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive change management within the business unit and implement projects and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the BU strategy aligned with the People and Culture strategy
- Track transformation programmes to support the implementation of the transformation goals
- Review fit-for-purpose org structures with departmental heads
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly reporting on deliverables, non-conformance, and flagging of potential risks to the People and Culture Manager
- Support line management with job profiles and arrange job evaluations as and when necessary
- Drive Performance Management culture within the Business Unit
- Compile and complete workforce plan as per required format and guidelines for approval
- Monitor the business units EE plan to ensure alignment with the central employment equity guidelines
- Review human capital development plan annually as per set deadline and format aligned to company HCD strategy
- Comply with Talent Management strategies to drive the business unit strategy
- Drive change management within the business unit and implementation of projects and process
- Assist departmental heads to interpret climate survey results, develop and monitor action plans
Requirements
- Qualification: NQF 7 Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent
- Experience: 5 years’ work experience in an HR generalist/business partner role
- Knowledge: HR Legislation (e.g. LRA, BCEA, SDA, EEA, BBBEE), Recruitment methodologies, and HR Information Systems
