• Identify all suppliers of specific raw materials and evaluate their prices, payment terms, quality and service levels.
• Conduct annual supplier audits and evaluations.
• Conduct monthly evaluation on raw material prices
• Identify and evaluate possible new raw materials which create a cost saving.
• Decrease transport cost with back load opportunities or multi-leg routes.
• Recons and average prices should be made available to Group Purchasing Manager and Management daily.
• Determine and plan the raw material requirements of each facility according to the sales forecast formulation breakdown and schedule deliveries accordingly.
• Communicate stock levels at  relative to the minimum required levels
• Ensure that raw materials purchased conform to minimum procurement specifications and to the requirement of the technical and quality department.
• Ensure that the supplier files are always  up to date 
• Handle any queries and concerns with suppliers and provide feedback to Group Purchasing Manager.
