About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centurion: Assistant Financial Manager to join our team at Network Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business decisions, and ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and other statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full financial function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, financial risks, and working capital.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and banks.
- Assist with project-based financial management, including billing, profitability analysis, and client reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance).
- Professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in consulting, professional services, or corporate environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
