• BSc Computer Science Degree or Diploma (NQF 7) equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years` experience as a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer or Network Engineer (both on-premises and cloud) (advantageous).
• Experienced in enterprise network architectures.
• Experience in SOC, both Defensive and Offensive security engineering.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure Monitoring, Orchestration, and SIEM tools and systems.
• Proficiency in industry standards (ISO27001, NIST, CIS, and Mitre Attack) with implementation experience. 
• Networking architecture and system administration.
• Firewall Certifications.
• Azure or AWS experience, MSCE/CCNA, Security+, CEH, CISA, CASP, CISSP, OSCP (advantageous)
• Exposure to industries like mining, finance, or telecommunications (advantageous).
