Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement divisional financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance frameworks, policies, and statutory regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, budgets, and reconciliations.
- Monitor and optimize financial performance through accurate reporting and analysis.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including regulatory bodies and governance structures.
- Lead, mentor, and support the finance team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee cost control measures, approve expenditures, and monitor budgetary compliance.

- Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
- Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks
- Effective leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills
- Problem-solving ability with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
WORK EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting Sciences (NQF Level 8).
- Advantageous: Certification as a Chartered Accountant
- Registration with the relevant professional body.
- Relevant business experience working in a finance role, post articles.
- Management or leadership experience.
- Experience in operational financial management processes, collaborating with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
WORK EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting Sciences (NQF Level 8).
- Advantageous: Certification as a Chartered Accountant
- Registration with the relevant professional body.
