Job Summary
- Operate the Control Room efficiently
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- Conduct day-to-day record-keeping activities
- Respond to emergencies and monitor vehicle activities
- Ensure vehicles comply with instructions
- Enforce rules and regulations within the control room and on the vehicles
- Dispatch vehicles, drones, and helicopters as needed
- Restrict access to unauthorized persons
Preferred Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in English and any South African language
- Computer literacy, including:
- Halo PTT
- Bidtrack Fleet Management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- CiiMS
- Outlook
- Previous experience in a Control Room environment
- Experience with vehicle tracking
- Grade 12 qualification
- PSIRA Grade A
- Clean criminal record
- No pending disciplinary cases
- Own transport (advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and think quickly
- Problem solving
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work shifts
