Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant Diploma or Degree beneficial
• Trade Qualification: Fully qualified Appy Electrician (Section 13 or equivalent) but practical training
• 2-4 Years experience within the role
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery used in metal production
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams to optimize plant efficiency
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections on metalworking equipment
• Assist in the design and modification of electrical systems to meet specific needs
