Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Site Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites. This role requires a focus on promoting value-added offerings, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth through account management. Key

Responsibilities:

Develop and sustain strong relationships with key site-level decision-makers. Provide continuous process support to improve customer satisfaction and optimize plant operations. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead generation during plant visits. Focus on after-market business, while also identifying and conveying investment (capex) opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and seamless customer service. Coordinate customer-facing activities, ensuring the best resources and channels are used. Understand customer business needs and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. Drive account planning and implementation, including strategy, budgeting, sales roadmap, and activity plans. Manage and share information on installed base, plant performance, and shutdown schedules. Lead customer satisfaction surveys and ensure continuous improvement efforts. Support accounts receivable and payment collection processes. Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: Matric (Grade 12) required; a degree, diploma, or artisan qualification in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is advantageous. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin. Experience: At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role. Skills: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management tools, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience in Sales/Account Management: Sales or account management experience is a plus. Other Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desired Competencies: A customer-centric mindset with the ability to convert customer needs into profitable solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent presentation and facilitation capabilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. A motivated self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively. Willingness to travel within Southern Africa and abroad. Ability to work flexible hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
