About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Solar Solutions Sales Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with sales expertise to design, propose, and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and/or industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar PV and energy solutions
- Engage with clients to understand their energy needs and provide technical advice
- Design and propose customised solar solutions, including system sizing and performance estimates
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
- Work closely with engineering and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and grid-tied/off-grid solutions
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
