About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Solar Solutions Sales Engineer to join our renewable energy team at Network Finance. As a key member of our sales team, you will combine strong technical knowledge with sales expertise to design, propose, and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and/or industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar PV and energy solutions
- Engage with clients to understand their energy needs and provide technical advice
- Design and propose customised solar solutions, including system sizing and performance estimates
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
- Work closely with engineering and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with solar technologies, products, and market trends
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and grid-tied/off-grid solutions
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s licence (site visits required)
