As an External Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating & ensuring the accuracy, integrity, & compliance of financial records and statements for a variety of clients. You will assess internal controls, conduct financial statement audits, & identify areas for improvement. Responsibilities:

Plan & execute external audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable standards (e.g., GRAP, IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, Modified Cash Standard etc.). Review financial statements to verify accuracy & compliance with relevant accounting standards. Assess internal controls, financial systems, & processes to identify weaknesses or inefficiencies. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas requiring further investigation. Prepare audit reports, documenting audit findings, recommendations, & supporting evidence. Communicate audit results to clients, including any identified risks & suggestions for improvement. Stay current with changes in accounting, auditing standards, & regulations. Manage & develop relationships with client management, maintaining effective communication & client service. Supervise & mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance & feedback. Ensure audits are completed within time & budget constraints.
