Dundee: Pit Supervisor

Key responsibilities: Overseeing daily Pit operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity Implementing, reinforcing and ensuring compliance to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment Collaborating with various departments to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges Implementing best practices to improve overall pit performance Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Ensure that procedures and COPs are strictly adhered to Technical supervision Minimum requirements: Grade 12 7 years open cast experience Processing plant and mine planning experience will be advantageous Computer literacy MS Office English proficiency Valid drivers license Knowledge of relevant legislation Good report writing skills Knowledge of the Opencast Mining, and Engineering works Opencast Blasting Certificate Competent person A certificate Proven leadership and managerial skills In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Physically fit and able to pass a medical/fitness test Ability to operate without supervision and be able to work under pressure Be a self-starter and able to work according to deadlines Integrity, reliable and ethical Sound communication and interpersonal skills
