Job Summary
A small but busy property company in Durban CBD is looking for a dynamic candidate with a passion for the property industry to join our team as a Debt Collector, responsible for collecting outstanding rentals.Minimum
Requirements:
MatricProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office At least two years experience as a debt collectorEffective communication written and verbalEffective telephone and organisation skillsResponsibilities Include:Collection of outstanding rentals.Sending of SMSs as defined in the current Debt Collectors procedure.Making contact with each arrear unit each month.Sending letters electronically/post on required days and hand deliver whenever necessary.Meeting with tenants.Regular communication with landlords regarding arrears.Handing over accounts to Attorneys in line with a signed handover resolution/ owner instructions as required.Daily reviewing the unallocated list to identify payments and process for allocation.Addressing client queries.Debt collection recoveries.Ensuring weekly/monthly targets are met.Acknowledgement of notice and confirmation letter sent to the tenant.Record keeping on all written, verbal & hand delivered communications with tenants as well as the owner.E-mail a 2 page CV with References to Port Natal Trading
