Job Summary
Requirements:
Education: Grade 10 or higher (Matric preferred). Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience operating a clamp forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment. Certification: Valid Clamp Operator license. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of load capacity and safe handling techniques. Ability to operate and maneuver a clamp forklift in tight spaces. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Responsibilities:
Operate a clamp forklift to transport, load, and unload goods, including palletized and non-palletized items. Handle materials such as paper rolls, appliances, and other bulky items using clamp attachments. Ensure proper handling and stacking of goods to prevent damage. Inspect forklift equipment before and after use to ensure operational safety. Follow safety procedures and report any equipment malfunctions or workplace hazards. Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movement. Coordinate with warehouse staff and supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
