This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, listed environment. The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the centralised finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the group.

Duties:
- Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all finance processes.
- Oversee financial accounting and compliance, including IFRS adherence, month-end close, and maintenance of robust internal controls.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Creditors, and Fixed Assets, ensuring accurate reconciliations, timely supplier payments, and correct asset capitalisation.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy, standardisation, and scalability within the Shared Services environment.
- Review and analyse cash flow forecasts, provide tax guidance, and ensure compliance with SARS and all statutory requirements.
- Coordinate group reporting and audit processes, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and full statutory compliance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, complemented by a CA(SA) designation (essential).
Experience:
- 3 – 7 years of relevant financial management experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Hands-on experience within a SAP environment (preferably SAP R/3, with exposure to FI, SD, and MM modules).
- In-depth understanding of IFRS, as well as Income Tax and VAT legislation.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Solid exposure to fixed asset management, creditor reconciliations, and tax compliance processes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, optimise processes, and maintain strong governance and accuracy in all financial operations.

- Highly deadline-driven, detail-focused, and committed to delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Skilled in identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements that enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user with strong SAP (R/3 – FI, SD, MM) experience and a solid understanding of IFRS, Income Tax, and VAT principles.
