About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Floor Leader to join our team at the Gateway store in Durban. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for driving excellent customer experiences and supporting your colleagues with product knowledge, sales techniques, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the sales floor, driving excellent customer experiences
- Support the team with product knowledge, sales techniques, and service delivery
- Ensure floor standards, displays, and stock levels are maintained
- Step into a supervisory role during peak trading times
- Assist with training and onboarding of new staff
- Maintain visual merchandising
Requirements
- Previous retail experience, ideally with some supervisory exposure
- A natural leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling transactions
- Enthusiastic, confident, and passionate about customer service
- Matric
