About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Food Sales Representative to join our team at PAR EXCELLANCE in Durban. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in sales of food, RTE, RTH, or party foods, preferably with supermarket groups, retail, wholesale, hospitality, industrial catering, QSR, or food factories.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and food service providers.
- Identify new sales opportunities, present and promote company products to (potential) customers, negotiate prices, delivery terms, and other sales agreements, and meet sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions and sales performance.
- Collaborate with marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts and provide customer feedback and insights to Sales Manager and Product Development Team.
Requirements
- Matric/ND/BTech/BCom Sales/Marketing;
- CompLit.;
- 1-3 years exp in sales of food/RTE/RTH/party foods, preferably to supermarket groups/other retail/wholesale/hospitality/industrial catering/ QSR/food factories.
- Must be results-driven/self-motivated/have strong communication/ interpersonal/negotiation/persuasion skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license/own car/willingness to travel. Travel and Fuel Allowance extra. Durban based G1208
