About the Role

Our client, a well-established player in the fast-moving consumer goods space, is seeking a detail-driven Production Planner to take ownership of their production planning processes in Cape Town. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in a production planning role within manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data formatting)
  • Understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP) and supply chain workflows
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with MRP systems (advantageous)
