About the Role

HotelJobs, a renowned hospitality company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our upmarket casual dining restaurant in Lagos. As a passionate cook with a strong work ethic, you will be responsible for driving culinary excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage kitchen operations and ensure seamless service delivery
Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
Lead and train junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives

Requirements

3 years of experience in a similar role as Head Chef or Sous Chef
Proven track record of successfully managing kitchen teams and implementing menu concepts
Strong knowledge of cookery techniques, ingredient sourcing, and food safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse staff members

Qualifications

Matric (or equivalent)

Salary & Benefits

R28,320 – R32,000 nett per annum, including accommodations and flights.
