Job Summary

Purpose of the Role: Manual Patternmaker required with substantial relevant experience required including amending patterns, transferring patterns onto boards, and grading specifications within the Fashion Industry. In addition to this, you should have extraordinary hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include making manual patterns, amending patterns, placing patterns on board, and grading specs. Experience and requirements: Manual Patternmaker Must be able to amend patterns and transfer patterns on board Grade specs Lectra Diamino – Patternmaking – Advanced knowledge Marker manager Creation file Marker making manual marking JUST PRINT To print markers on plotter QUICK NEST Cloud based to make markers. Pattern maker Modaris systems Job Description: Discussing the base design with the Production team. Figuring out the best technique for production Meeting the clients to determine their design requirements. Developing innovative patterns for various garments. Cutting the fabrics and garments. Suggesting improvements in the existing designs. Creating design incorporating old design as needed. Examine sketches and sample patterns. Determining pattern quantities, shapes, and sizes. Providing sewing instructions Adding the pattern specifications into the computer. Minimizing material wastes. Sketching the final design to indicate the position of accessories. Taking approval from the client before manufacturing. Staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in pattern marking Requirements Proven working experience as a Pattern Maker Ability to use pattern making equipment and machinery. Demonstrate working practice in minimizing wastage. Ability to meet deadlines. A keen eye for detail for accuracy. Excellent listening skills. Ability to take feedback in a professional manner. Outstanding time management skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Illustrate the ability to read and understand the blueprints. Proficient in computer software such as CAD, Adobe Illustrator, etc. Highly creative and hardworking individual. A problem solver with a detailed oriented approach. Excellent mathematical skills. Strong work ethic.
