Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage marketing functions to promote the organisations services effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong community relationships through outreach and events.
- Consult with families to provide guidance on funeral arrangements, pre-planning, and related services.
- Drive sales for funeral insurance, monumental products, and pre-planning solutions.
- Maintain accurate administrative records of visits and consultations.
- Assist in operational functions within the funeral home as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to connect with families empathetically and professionally.
- Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to assist families during challenging times.
- Proven Sales Ability: Experience in selling insurance, monumental products, or similar services is a plus.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing principles and community engagement.
- Administrative Proficiency: Well-organized with the ability to maintain detailed records.
- Local Knowledge: Established in the Durban area with an understanding of the local community.
- All-Rounder Approach: Willingness to take on diverse responsibilities and make a meaningful impact.
