Job Summary

Medium-sized freight forwarder, based in Cornubia is seeking an junior import controller to join our teamResponsibilities providing assistance to the controller in the following areas: Coordinate the shipment, arrange customs clearance, and passing of all necessary paperwork Communicating with customers regarding obtaining the necessary documents and information, and to co- ordinate the delivery of the cargo while keeping the customer up to date with delivery dates and timing.Liaising with service providers such as shipping lines and transporters to facilitate the release and timely delivery of cargo.Managing of any required cargo inspections.Completing of any administrative tasks.To undertake any other adhoc operational duties required

Requirements:

Have an understanding of import documentation and process flowsAttention to detailGood communication skills (verbal and written)Drivers LicenseAbility to work in a fast-paced, demanding environmentComputer Literacy, Outlook, Word and Excel. Easy Clear knowledge will be an advantage

Salary:

R7000.00 neg50/50 provident fund and medical aid
