About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our business within the KwaZulu-Natal region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing key accounts, and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives
- Full ownership of regional budgets, forecasts, and sales targets
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with retail and wholesale partners
- Manage, coach, and mentor staff and sales agents to drive performance and professional development
- Oversee stock management and ensure strong in-trade execution
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Requirements
- 34 years proven experience in a Regional Sales or similar role within the FMCG sector
- Demonstrated experience dealing with buyers, customers, agents, and distributors
- Strong computer literacy and reporting capability
- Proven ability in market analysis and product forecasting
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Strong conflict management, organisational, and leadership abilities
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
- A valid drivers licence
