In this role, you will provide critical financial insight, support operational decision-making, and ensure robust financial controls. You will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes, partnering with operations to improve efficiency and profitability. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct product costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
• Maintain and review standard costing, job costing, and WIP reconciliations.
• Provide financial insight to production and operational management teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock control processes.
• Oversee and improve financial reporting systems and ERP functionalities.
• Participate in ERP and process improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain financial models and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum B.Com (Accounting / Management Accounting / Finance) or equivalent.
• CIMA qualification (completed or in progress) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ management accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in product costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems; Power BI exposure advantageous.
• Experience leading or supervising junior finance staff (preferred).
• Availability to commence January 2025.

Remuneration:
R55,000 – R60,000 per month
