Duties:
- Develop and execute the Finance Shared Services strategy
- Define, implement and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery
- Oversee monthly financial close processes in line with IFRS
- Manage Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets functions
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policy
- Lead centralised creditors and fixed assets functions
- Oversee reconciliations, payment cycles and asset capitalisation
- Resolve internal and external stakeholder finance queries
- Review and analyse cash flow forecasts and investigate variances
- Provide oversight and guidance on tax compliance and tax-related decisions
- Lead month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Build, lead and develop high-performing finance shared services teams
- Drive performance management, succession planning and team capability development
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom or BCom Honours in Accounting or equivalent.
- Professional qualification CA(SA).
Experience:
- 3–7 years’ relevant financial and management experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a management or supervisory capacity
- Proven experience working in SAP environments (preferably SAP R/3 FI, SD, MM modules)
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, Income Tax and VAT legislation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
- Demonstrated exposure to fixed assets, creditor management and tax compliance
