Job Summary
- Operational Oversight: Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient fuel distribution and supply chain continuity.
- Team Supervision: Help manage and develop a team of operations staff, providing training, support, and supervision to drive performance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor fuel and lubricant stock levels, liaise with suppliers for timely restocking, and avoid supply disruptions.
- Quality Control: Enforce rigorous quality and safety standards to comply with industry and company regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the distribution network.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, promptly addressing issues and ensuring service satisfaction.
- Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of operational reports, analyze key performance indicators, and support informed decision-making.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across operations.
- Crisis Management: Assist in preparing and executing contingency plans to ensure operational continuity during disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and other departments to support shared projects and goals.
- Mechanical background essential
- Strong leadership and staff coordination skills
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence
